Logistics & Supply Chain

Real-time visibility from pickup to proof of delivery.

We build the systems that keep goods moving: live tracking, driver apps, dispatch tools and automated paperwork. They are designed to work in the field, on patchy connections and at high volume.

Overview

Software for logistics & supply chain, done properly.

Logistics is a chain of handoffs between shippers, carriers, warehouses, drivers and customers. Every handoff produces paperwork and status updates, and much of it is still typed, emailed or phoned in. Software that captures events at the source, and AI that reads documents, removes a lot of that manual effort.

The users are often in the field. Drivers and warehouse staff work with gloves on, in poor light and with patchy signal. Apps need large touch targets, barcode scanning and offline-first data handling that syncs without losing a scan or a signature.

Integration is the core challenge. Data sits in TMS, WMS, ERP and telematics systems, and partners still exchange EDI messages alongside modern APIs. Volumes can spike with seasonal demand, so the systems connecting them need to be reliable and observable.

Challenges we solve

  • Limited real-time visibility into shipments and fleets
  • Bills of lading, invoices and PODs processed by hand
  • Drivers working with poor connectivity
  • Data spread across TMS, WMS and partner systems
Use cases

What we build for logistics & supply chain.

01

Shipment tracking portal

A customer-facing portal and API showing live status, ETAs and proof of delivery for every shipment.

02

Driver mobile app

Routes, stop lists, barcode scanning, photos and e-signatures that work offline and sync when signal returns.

03

Dispatch & route planning

Tools that assign jobs, plan routes and rebalance work when a vehicle runs late or a job changes.

04

Shipping document extraction

AI that reads bills of lading, commercial invoices and delivery notes and posts the data into your TMS or ERP.

05

EDI & partner integration hub

A service that translates EDI and API messages between your systems, carriers and customers, with monitoring for failed messages.

06

Exception alerts

Rules and event streams that flag delays, missed scans or temperature breaches and notify the right person.

What we design around

Compliance, integrations and scale, from day one.

Compliance & regulation

We design with customs documentation, hours-of-service and electronic logging rules in your markets in mind, and treat driver location data as personal data under GDPR.

System integrations

We connect TMS, WMS and ERP platforms, telematics providers and carrier APIs, and handle EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.

Security & privacy

Scoped API access for partners, device management for field hardware and limits on how long location history is kept.

Scale & reliability

Event-driven pipelines with queues and retries absorb peak volumes, and monitoring catches stalled integrations before shipments go dark.

Typical stack & integrations

  • PostGIS
  • Google Maps Platform
  • Mapbox
  • ANSI X12 / EDIFACT
  • GS1 barcodes
  • Kafka
  • React Native
  • SQLite
  • Samsara API
FAQ

Logistics & Supply Chain FAQ

Can't find what you're looking for? Send us a message and we'll get back to you within one business day.

Can you integrate with our existing TMS or WMS?

Usually, yes. We use the platform's APIs where available and fall back to EDI, file exchange or database integration where they are not.

How do driver apps handle areas with no signal?

The app stores every scan, photo and signature locally and syncs when the device reconnects, with conflict handling so nothing is lost or duplicated.

How accurate is AI document extraction on messy paperwork?

It depends on document quality, so we test on your real documents first. Each field gets a confidence score and low-confidence results go to a person to check.

Can we start with one depot or route before rolling out?

Yes, and we recommend it. A pilot shows how the system performs in the field and gives drivers a chance to shape the app before a wider rollout.
