About Codestria

Senior engineering and practical AI, without the agency games.

Codestria is a software engineering and AI studio. We help startups and growing businesses turn ideas into reliable products, and use AI agents and automation to do more with less.

Our mission

Give every ambitious business access to senior engineering and practical AI, so they can build faster, automate the busywork and scale with confidence.

Our story

Why Codestria exists. And why it matters to you.

We started Codestria because we kept seeing good ideas lose momentum for reasons that had nothing to do with the idea. The product was sound and the budget was there. What broke was the way the work was organised.

The same problems showed up again and again. A design agency hands off to a dev shop, which hands off to someone else for infrastructure, and context leaks out at every step. AI projects produce an impressive demo, then stall because nobody planned for real data, edge cases or monitoring. And many agencies work behind a curtain: weekly status emails, no access to the code, and a surprise at the end of every milestone.

We work differently. The same senior engineers take your project from the first conversation to production and stay with it after launch. You see working software every week, not slides about it. The repository, the cloud accounts and the decisions are yours from day one, and every trade-off is written down so you can follow our reasoning.

Our aim is simple: software and AI systems that run reliably in production, that your team understands, and that keep paying for themselves long after we ship them.

Values

What we stand for. In practice.

01

Outcomes over output

We judge our work by what changes for your business, not by hours logged or tickets closed. If a smaller build gets you the same result, we will tell you.

02

Honesty, even when it is inconvenient

We give realistic estimates and flag risks as soon as we see them. If something is not a good fit for AI or for us, we say so early.

03

Production is the finish line

A demo is a milestone, not a result. We plan for real users, real data and failure cases from the first sprint.

04

Clarity over cleverness

We write code and documents that the next engineer can read without us in the room. Simple systems are easier to change, test and hand over.

05

Ownership

We treat your product as if our name were on it. When something breaks, we fix it first and explain it second.

06

Security by default

Access control, secrets handling and data protection are part of the design, not an add-on at the end. We give every service and person the least access they need.

How we operate

Six habits you will notice.

These are the day-to-day practices that make our projects predictable.

  1. 01

    Weekly demos, not status reports

Every week you see working software in a live session. Progress is something you can click, not a percentage in an email.

  2. 02

You own the repo from day one

Code lives in your GitHub or GitLab organisation and runs in your cloud accounts. If we stopped working together tomorrow, you would have everything.

  3. 03

    Written decisions

Architecture choices, trade-offs and scope changes are recorded in short decision notes. You can always see what we chose, why, and what we ruled out.

  4. 04

    Small senior teams

You work directly with the engineers building your product, not through layers of account managers. Fewer handoffs means fewer misunderstandings and faster decisions.

  5. 05

    Ship small, ship often

We release in small increments behind feature flags where it makes sense. Smaller changes are easier to review, test and roll back.

  6. 06

    Measure before we automate

Before building an AI agent or automation, we agree on what success looks like and how we will measure it. That keeps the work tied to a real business result.

“I started Codestria after years of building high-traffic SaaS platforms, real-time ordering systems and cloud consoles. The pattern was always the same: businesses don't need more code. They need reliable systems that move the numbers. AI agents make that possible for far smaller teams, and we're here to help you use them well.”
