Healthcare

Less admin for clinicians, better experiences for patients.

We build healthcare software that cuts administrative load and makes care easier to access. Systems are designed with HIPAA and GDPR requirements in mind, with careful handling of sensitive data at every layer.

Overview

Software for healthcare, done properly.

A large share of healthcare work is administrative: intake forms, referrals, prior authorisations, scheduling and documentation. Software and AI can take much of that load off clinicians and front-desk staff. The goal is more time with patients and fewer things falling through the cracks.

Healthcare users are not typical software users. Patients may be unwell, older or using the app once a year, and clinicians have seconds between appointments. Interfaces need to be simple, accessible and quick, and anything clinical needs to be reviewed by a qualified person before it reaches a record.

Data lives in EHRs, practice management systems and billing tools that were not built to share easily. Standards such as HL7 FHIR help, but every integration has its quirks. Privacy law, including HIPAA in the US and GDPR in Europe and the UK, governs how health data is stored, accessed and shared.

Challenges we solve

  • Clinicians losing hours to admin and documentation
  • Fragmented records across systems that don't talk
  • Patients struggling with booking and follow-ups
  • High bar for privacy, access control and reliability
Use cases

What we build for healthcare.

01

Online booking & reminders

Self-service appointment booking synced with your scheduling system, plus SMS and email reminders that cut no-shows.

02

Digital intake forms

Pre-visit questionnaires and consent forms that patients complete on their phone and that flow straight into the record.

03

Referral & fax processing

AI extraction of referral letters and faxed documents into structured data, queued for staff to confirm.

04

Clinical note drafting

Assistants that draft visit summaries or letters from structured inputs for the clinician to edit and approve.

05

Patient portal & messaging

Secure web and mobile portals for results, documents and messaging with the care team.

06

EHR integration layer

A FHIR-based service that connects your apps to EHR, lab and billing systems through one consistent API.

What we design around

Compliance, integrations and scale, from day one.

Compliance & regulation

We design with HIPAA, GDPR and UK GDPR requirements in mind, including access controls, audit trails and data minimisation. Where you need a BAA, we use cloud services that offer one.

Clinical system integrations

We work with HL7 v2 messages, FHIR APIs and SMART on FHIR apps to connect EHRs such as Epic and Oracle Health, along with labs, scheduling and billing tools.

Security & privacy

Encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access, session controls and logging of every access to patient data. AI features run on providers and settings that do not retain or train on your data.

Reliability

Clinics depend on these systems during opening hours, so we build with redundancy, safe deployment practices and clear fallbacks when an upstream system is unavailable.

Typical stack & integrations

  • HL7 FHIR
  • SMART on FHIR
  • HL7 v2
  • Epic APIs
  • Twilio
  • React Native
  • PostgreSQL
  • AWS HIPAA-eligible services
FAQ

Healthcare FAQ

Can't find what you're looking for? Send us a message and we'll get back to you within one business day.

Can you integrate with our EHR?

In most cases, yes. We use FHIR APIs where the vendor supports them and HL7 v2 interfaces or vendor-specific APIs where they do not. Access often depends on the vendor's approval process, which we help you navigate.

Is AI safe to use with patient data?

It can be, with the right setup. We use providers and configurations that do not retain or train on your data, limit what the model sees, and keep a clinician in the loop for anything clinical.

Will you sign a BAA?

We can discuss this during scoping. We also set up your infrastructure on cloud services that offer BAAs so the systems handling PHI are covered.

Do you build software regulated as a medical device?

Our focus is administrative, patient-engagement and workflow software. If a product may fall under medical device rules, we recommend involving a regulatory specialist early and we work alongside them.
