Questions, answered honestly.
Everything clients usually ask before working with us. If your question isn't here, send it over and we'll reply within one business day.
Getting started
How do we start working together?
Book a free discovery call and tell us what you want to achieve. We ask questions, look at what you have today and follow up with a recommended approach, timeline and estimate. There is no obligation to continue.
What do you need from us before the first call?
A short description of the problem and the outcome you want is enough. If you have existing designs, documents or a codebase, it helps to share them, but it is not required.
We are not technical. Can you still help?
Yes. We translate business goals into a technical plan and explain trade-offs in plain language. You make the decisions; we handle the engineering.
Can you take over an existing project?
Yes. We start with a short code and infrastructure review so we understand what is there and where the risks are. Then we recommend whether to improve what exists or rebuild specific parts.
Pricing & contracts
How do you price projects?
We offer fixed-scope projects, dedicated teams and monthly retainers. Fixed scope suits well-defined work; retainers and dedicated teams suit products that keep evolving. We recommend a model after discovery, once we understand the work.
How are payments structured?
Fixed-scope projects are paid in milestones tied to clear deliverables, usually with a portion upfront. Retainers and dedicated teams are billed monthly. Every milestone and invoice maps to work you can see.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. We are happy to sign your NDA, or provide ours, before you share anything sensitive. Confidentiality terms are also included in our service agreement.
What if the scope changes during the project?
Scope usually changes as you learn, and that is fine. We discuss the impact on timeline and cost before making the change, and record the decision in writing so there are no surprises.
Process & communication
How do you handle time zones?
We are based in Karachi and work with clients worldwide. We set agreed overlap hours for clients in Europe, the Middle East and North America, and use written async updates for everything else, so work keeps moving while you sleep.
How often will we hear from you?
You get async written updates several times a week, a live demo every week and a monthly review. You also have a shared channel where you can ask questions at any time.
Who will we work with day to day?
You work directly with the senior engineers building your product, led by our founder and lead engineer. There are no layers of account managers between you and the people writing the code.
Can we use our own tools?
Yes. We are comfortable working in your Slack, Teams, Jira, Linear or GitHub setup. If you do not have tools in place, we set up a simple stack that you own.
Technical
What technologies do you use?
Mostly TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Nest.js and Python, with PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS. For AI work we use the major model providers and choose per use case. We pick tools that your team can hire for and maintain.
How do you make sure AI agents are reliable?
We define what correct looks like, build evaluation sets from real examples and test against them before and after every change. Agents get guardrails, limited permissions and human review for high-risk actions. We also monitor accuracy and cost in production.
How do you handle our data?
Data stays in your accounts wherever possible, and access is limited to the people who need it. For AI features, we choose providers and settings that match your privacy requirements and explain what data is sent where.
Will the code be maintainable by our own team?
That is a core goal. We write typed, tested code with clear structure, document key decisions and run handover sessions so your engineers can take over with confidence.
Support & ownership
Who owns the code and IP?
You do. Code lives in your repository and infrastructure runs in your cloud accounts from day one. Full IP transfer is written into our agreement.
What happens after launch?
We stay close during the first weeks of real traffic and fix anything that comes up. After that, you can move to a monthly retainer for monitoring, maintenance and new features, or take the system in-house.
What happens if we decide to part ways?
You already have the code, the accounts and the documentation, so nothing is held back. We help with a clean handover, including a walkthrough with your new team or vendor.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance?
Yes. Retainers cover monitoring, incident response, dependency and security updates, and continuous improvements. We agree on response expectations upfront so you know what to rely on.
